Raven Hill Apple Orchard

Rob, Jaedyn, Ashlyn and I took a trip out to Julian with my friend Julie and her two boys. We busted a move to Raven Hill Orchards which was an hour and a few minutes away on a very hot, non fallish feeling day....it was steaming hot, poor Julie was 2 weeks away from delivering her baby, Ashlyn had a large case of the grumpies because we skipped her nap and cramming lots of kids into a small, but crowded local restaurant after a hot day of apple picking was a bit chaotic. The best part however was realizing that the best apple pie place in town was closed and maybe because of her very sad faces the owner's daughter appeared out of nowhere to give us a free apple pie. The apple pie was definitely worth the craziness...yummy!
