Orange Ninjas: Game Two

Jaedyn has had 3 soccer games total so far. He actually has a pretty good team...2 wins and 1 loss so far. More importantly Jaedyn seems to be slowly improving from dreamily skipping up and down the field without even noticing where the ball is to following the ball and actually running after everyone else who has the ball. He still is keeping his distance from the ball, so much so that even if it comes right to his foot (as you can see in one of these pictures), he still won't kick it. But at least he's having fun!

Orfila...

To end our visit with Grampy and Barbara we ventured over to a local vineyard. I had forgotten how beautiful this place was. While everyone enjoyed their wine we had a blast playing football and enjoyed whipping out some serious dance moves to some live acoustic music.

Putting Grampy and Barbara to work

While Rob's dad was here we took advantage of his super duper electrical and plumbing skills and installed some new lights and faucets in our bathrooms (thanks again!). Jaedyn also took advantage of Grampy's lego building skills and spent some time constructing a helicopter. I gratefully had Barbara take over my kitchen one night (one of her favorite things to do is cook and can she cook!!) that I had a photo session. I walked in the door and a delicious dinner was served..the best treat EVER. Thank you, thank you Bob and Barbara for such a fun visit. We look forward to your return and miss you already! xoxoxo

A little bit of Ashlyn

We had Ashlyn dedicated this past weekend at our Church, Green Valley Church. Ashlyn and I went on a shopping trip to find a fun dress and new shoes for the occasion. She loved her dress and new red shoes and couldn't wait to wear them. She also had her first day of school (the picture with the bucket). So far so good...she loves it and has no problem saying goodbye in the morning!

The ORANGE NINJAS

Jaedyn had his first soccer game last Saturday. I wasn't quite sure how Jaedyn would do seeing that this was his first team playing experience and soccer playing experience. If anything I'm pretty sure it was one of the cutest things I have ever seen. Jaedyn did more skipping and smiling up and down the field in his own little world than actually making contact with the soccer ball. He did manage to make contact with the ball a few times, but most of the time he was in Jaedyn land dreaming of drum sticks and china symbols. If you are on FB check out the video I uploaded..it will surely make you laugh.
