The iphone dump: November and December

So to say that I love the camera on my new fabulous iphone would be an understatement. I love not having the pressure of having to carry around my beast of a camera and having the freedom to leave it home knowing that I at least I have something on me at all times. Here's a review of Nov. and Dec.

Christmas Morning

Jaedyn was the first to wake up on Christmas morning. He came running in to our bedroom and very excitedly announced that Santa came and he brought lots of presents. We waited for Ashlyn to wake up and then the frenzy began. I'm pretty sure that out of all of the presents Jaedyn would say that his favorite is a two way tie..his new red guitar and his splash cymbal. Ashlyn would probably say her new V-reader and princess story/game to go with the V-reader. Thank you thank you for all of the presents and the love that was sent from the east coast. Thank you cards coming soon. :)

Christmas Eve

Jaedyn got to play with the worship team at our candle light Christmas Eve service. Two of his favorite people (and ours!!) are Shane the drummer at Green Valley Church and David the worship leader. We love both of these guys not only because they are ridiculously talented, but also because they both love Jaedyn and really embrace his passion for drumming.

Playing catch up...again!! Plastic Skating....

So we took the kids what we thought was ice skating only to arrive and realize that the "ice" was actually plastic with a coating of some slippery oily spray stuff. Funny for about 2 seconds and annoying for the next 45 minutes!

Christmas at the Bernardo Winery

We had a fun night at the Winery a couple of weeks ago. The kids met Santa and Mrs. Claus for the first time ever which was sooooo cute. Jaedyn and I sucked down and a delicious cup of hot chocolate and we all went on a horse and carriage ride which turned out to be hysterical. During our ride the horse took off full speed ahead a few times unexpectedly (the drive said that this was not normal) which created slight panic in my mom, giant eyeballs for Jaedyn and extreme hysterics for me.

Ashlyn's Ballet Recital

Ashlyn had her first ballet recital a couple of weeks ago with her two little friends, Lilly and Karson. It was very informal, nice and short on a street corner in Escondido. She did great and loved wearing her red ballet outfit as she shasayed down the sidewalk!
