Sir Jaedyn at your service

We have had tons of birthday parties for the last few weeks. This one was a come as a knight, soldier, king, queen or princess party. It was super cute...everyone was dressed up and sat a giant table. They cooked an entire chicken for the kids and made some home made pizza. They finished the frenzy off w/ a pinata.

Harvest Celebration at Ashlyn's Preschool

Last week was Ashlyn's harvest festival at her school. I volunteered so I could get a glimpse of what she's like at school. Very focused, very serious, and very quiet. Everything that she isn't at home. The harvest festival consisted of several fall activities and games and ended with a hoe down (the picture of her squatting) lead by the director. Next week I'll be volunteering in Jaedyn's gigantic classroom (27 kids) to get a sneak peak at what he's doing.

Happy Birthday little pumpkin!

Thank you to everyone who came to Ashlyn's birthday party this past Saturday. It was a fun day frolicking in the pumpkin patch and going on a tractor ride. And I'm pretty sure that everyone liked the cupcakes. :0) My apologies for not remembering to take the group picture while everyone was still there. I was super bummed that I forgot.

Lake Poway Park

Jaedyn has had an interest in fishing for the past few months so we took a drive to one of our favorite parks last week for some fishing pole practice. While he was busy trying to catch a fish (without a worm I might add) Ashlyn and I had a little photo session for her 3rd birthday. I LOVE the pictures...totally spur of the moment, but totally Ashlyn. She LOVES to wear dresses, she LOVES that little green "backack" and she is CONSTANTLY scraping her knees for one reason or another. And of course, she's cute. :0)

Some October Beach Days

One of the many great things about San Diego is the extended beach time we have. And for some reason when school starts no one goes to the beach anymore so you have it all to yourself. We went frolicking back to Solana Beach on this Sunday afternoon a couple of weekends ago.
