Start your engines....

Here are some pictures from Jaedyn's first T-ball scrimmage. He really loves it and is really getting good at catching grounders.

Zoogolf

During the month of February we visited one of our favorite places on earth, the Zoo. Of course we saw more up close action than any other visit in the last 10 years and.... I didn't have my camera. But I did have my handy phone! Not the same, but I'll take it. We had a blast watching the apes eat up close and personal. A little history about the baboon pictured with my dad...that guy has some serious anger management issues (and I'm not talking about my Dad). Mr. baboon attacked the glass where my dad was talking to him with all fours and showed his giant pointy teeth at him. He repeated this again a couple of more times at Jaedyn. He was crazy and man, were we grateful for the thick glass between us.
Apart from the zoo..we took the kids mini golfing for the first time. Jaedyn LOVED it and had a blast.

February Iphone Blast!

Is it really March already? I don't know what happened to February..it came and went so fast I feel like I didn't even have a February. Some highlights...a visit from one of my east coast friends, a visit from Aunt Suzanne (and this was the first time I met her as well as the kids), Super Bowl Sunday and celebrating with Pop Pop, Jaedyn's heart appointment which was great, working with Jaedyn as he wrote out 26 Valentines cards to his classmates, Ashlyn getting to ride on her friend's big girl princess bike (and falling in love with it!), and the long road of trying to figure out the source of Ashlyn's health issues...hopefully in March I'll have a giant picture of Ashlyn with a happy face!

Bike Riders on the move!

Jaedyn is much more confident on his bike lately which has been fun. We are going on more bike rides and he's starting go just a touch faster than the usual snail paced speed. And Ashlyn has had the chance to try out a big girl bike thanks to some of her little friends (not pictured) and is more than ready to zoom away on one. I think I see a princess bike in our near future! :)
